Things always need a nerf, although GW is probably in on of the best states it has ever been in, couldn't care less, we all know the balance will be disappointing...

Of the last three double fame weekends, including this one, two of them have come before the skill balance. Instead of nerfing what the HA community obviously sees needs nerfs, ANet watches the spikes in activity and looks at the success of people running the builds we already know need nerfs. Or at least, that's the only logical explanation I can think of.

Actually, I farmed like 200 fame so far with my guild (droksway)... Pwned many hexway & iway, but we were mostly against heroways. Too easy, fail more Olias, fail!

Funny that you say that, because I tought the same way.
Strangely enough, it isn't IWAY that needs the nerf. From my observations, R-spike currently is Nr1 overpowered build in HA o.0
I know, It sounds strange (well not so strange, looking at forked/sloth hunters damage), but yeah, my best gues would have also been IV being the main holding build.
Meh, we'll see I gues. (We ALL know Anet wil just f.. up again)
Hint: Nerf Rspike, IV, Zerg, Heroway and Cry of Frustration.
99% of HA fixed.

You two are full of win. If things were going your way, all we would have now to play with is rock, paper and scissors.

Cry of Frustration = the best anti-spike skill ever made. Don't nerf it, it's fine.
IV could use an initial damage nerf, but I think what'd be better is if you changed attributes on it. IV is so effective because you can att into the Necromancer energy management, and put the rest of the atts into pure support, while only spiking with 2 skills.
RSpike may be messed up damage-wise, but the forms you see nowadays are prottable and infuse-able. If we were to argue pure damage, then technically every form of balanced needs a nerf.
Tele derv spike does NOT need a nerf, just get monks that are able to prot where the derv appears (commonly referred to as "pre-prot"). In fact, tele derv is weaker than a fair number of balanced builds by relying so much on that dervish.

You clearly dont HA much. Considering a teleportation spike which is even half decent cannont be "pre-protted"
I suggest you, get rank or go back to pve.

Nerf that zergway garbage, nerf every gimmick build based around physicals and make block skills only block 33% or 25%, DA, WoW and Aegis are the cancer killing GW. Sick of matches being "who has more defense".

Only lost to 1 Iway this weekend.. scored around 150 fame. Just playing this weekend though, cba with HA normally.
Did'nt come across insanely imba builds, the thumper crap is annoying, but drops after a while (watch the ooa and ur fine). Icy veins is weak, Iway just dies to any pressure at their p/mo's. Rangerspike is the thing that hurt us the most, but only in the hands of players that knew how to play.
This is just what I base on 1 day of HA playing though
